Benidorm or ‘little New york’ as some local Spanish people call it is very well-located being only 50km from Alicante.
With such towns as Albir, Altea, Calpe and other popular holiday destinations in the near vicinity, Benidorm makes an ideal holiday or business location.
Benidorm has some of the best beaches in Spain with many good business opportunities to be found in what is arguably the town’s most popular area for tourists.
The town has two beaches: ‘Playa de Levante’ and ‘Playa de Poniente’ which both have well kept sandy beaches and long promenades (about 5 km in total).
It also has an unusual mixture of skyscrapers and even local village life which you find in the popular haunts of the old town.
The nightlife is unparalleled on the Costa Blanca with comedy acts, karaoke, dancing and floor shows amongst other things.
Seasonal Trends
Summer is obviously the busiest time in Benidorm, although winter is also very busy.
The array of bars, restaurants (over 1000) and discos (over 30) mean it’s hard to be bored.

Plethora of Local Hotel Accommodation
And when it comes to accommodation there are over 35,000 beds and over 200,000 apartments available.
Tourists and buyers come from all around the world and, in particular, from Scandinavia, Russia, Holland, Germany and U.K. to mention just a few.
This means speaking Spanish, while helpful, is not essential.
Local Attractions
There are many other attractions nearby including ‘Terra Mitica’ which is a really great day out for couples or families. There are wild rides for those who enjoy those kinds of thrills and the calmer water-dippers and bumper cars for the less adventurous. There are also fun bars and good restaurants.
‘Aqualandia’, Benidorm’s well-known water park, is also very popular with families as are many of the other types of family entertainment available.
The Weather
The weather is normally very pleasant and it is not unusual to see very busy beaches in the middle of winter.
This not only reflects Spanish demand, but also the many foreign tourists who take advantage of the great hotel and apartment offers available during the winter months.
Parking
While Benidorm is a busy resort, it is not usually too much of a problem to find a parking space near the beaches or other attractions.
Although it should be said there are good bus and taxi services. No matter what your gender, sexuality or interests Benidorm could be just the place to buy an interesting and profitable all-year-round business.
