If you’re looking to buy a business in Spain, whether it’s a bar, restaurant or any other type of business, let us help you.
We will listen carefully to your requirements and give you professional advice.
This includes checking all our records for current businesses for sale and if directed we will canvas a particular area or type of business on your behalf.
Apart from our normal enquires when listing a business we will also gain more specific information wherever possible in connection with your particular interest.
When viewing opportunities currently available we will also give advice on the general area and population make up.
Should you not find a suitable business on our first viewing we will keep you on our database and update you with any new listings which meet your specific criteria.
The initial viewings will make it easier for us to make the ideal match on any subsequent visits.
Making An Offer
It is our normal policy to negotiate and reach agreement as to what is an acceptable purchase price.
At this point you will be expected pay a 10% deposit against the purchase price and sign a pre-contract agreement which secures the business.
The business is then taken off the market.
Legal Matters
With all the required documentation to hand we will introduce you to a reliable and multilingual lawyer.
The lawyer will hold the deposit until completion, and give you valuable advice on the current legal requirements when making a business purchase.
You will also be given other general information and advice.
It will be the lawyer’s responsibility to check the lease and business to ensure it meets all legal sale of business requirements,
Part of his responsibility includes ensuring there are no outstanding debts or other charges against the business and that the lease meets current Spanish requirements and that the Landlord is in the position and agrees to the transfer of the lease.
At all times we will be available to assist you with any matters. |
