The Costa Blanca runs along the Eastern coast of Spain and includes the province of Alicante.
The most Northern part being Gandia and stretching through such towns as Javea, Moraira, Calpe, Benidorm and Torrevieja in the South, make this a very diverse coastal area.
The coast stretches for over 100 kms with some stunning rocky coves as well as long stretches of sandy beaches.
The Costa Blanca has some of the cleanest beaches in southern Europe and is very popular with both foreign and Spanish tourists alike.
There are two popular airports in the area Alicante and Murcia, and while taking only just over two hours to fly from the South of England to Alicante this area has now become popular for weekend visitors from the U.K.
